CBIS 3213 Lab 3

Read all of Chapter 3 in the book and in the module materials online at http://iscm.gcsu.edu/~bpayne/cisco/.

Perform Labs 3.1.9b and 3.1.9c on cabling & testing (print 3.1.9b, part c can be done online & in-class).
Read Lab 3.1.9e on crossover cables (can be used to connect two computers directly without hub or network).
Print & perform Lab 3.1.9f on purchasing UTP cable.
Print & perform Lab 3.2.8 on purchasing fiber optic cable.

For each lab, you may either 1) Print legibly on the lab handouts (PDFs), or 2) Type your responses, clearly labeled and numbered, in a word processing package.

The lab exercises are due at the beginning of the next class period.
